English Rock Legend Terry Reid at THE TURNING POINT

Terry passed away on Aug. 4th, 2025. Terry’s musical career began in the early 1960s performing in a local British club where he was invited to join Peter Jay and the Jaywalkers as lead vocalist, opening for The Rolling Stones 1966 tour. In the later ’60s, Reid was the solo supporting act for the Rolling Stones, Cream, Jethro Tull and Fleetwood Mac tours. He turned down offers by Jimmy Page to be the lead vocalist of the band that became Led Zeppelin, and Ritchie Blackmore to front Deep Purple.

Terry appear at the Turning Point supported by his favorate local band The Cosmic American Derelict. Presents xx shows over the years to sell out shows!  He even took his “local” band twice back to England to show them American Roots and RocknRoll.

Our love goes out to his family, his “local band” and his many fans.
