As you’re probably aware the US border remains closed to EU travelers through November, when the US govt is supposed to loosen restrictions. Although the band’s visas were approved months ago, they were denied entry into the country until the border reopens unless they acquire a National Interest Exemption (NIE).
We have applied not once but twice, at the expense of the band, for the NIE. Some of you wrote support letters for those and we are thankful for your ongoing support. Unfortunately, since we have still not heard back from the UK consulate for the second application yet, we feel it best to cancel and reschedule in the new year.
